The city’s newest industry group plans to put Mayor Mike Bloomberg and Walmart on notice. The New York Association of Grocery Stores—launched last week by lobbyists Brad Gerstman and David Schwartz of Gotham Government Relations—has put defeating the mayor’s proposed soda ban and keeping Walmart out of the city atop its to-do list.
